A copy and paste font is text made from Unicode characters rather than from a font file. Copy Paste Fonts swaps each letter you type for a look-alike character, such as 𝐁 or 𝓑 for B, so the styled text can be pasted into any app that shows Unicode text, with nothing to install.
How does fancy text work?
Unicode is the standard that gives every character a number, and it already contains many alphabets that look like styled Latin letters. The largest set, the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block, was added in 2001 so mathematicians could write bold, italic, script and double-struck variables. Other styles come from the fullwidth forms, the circled and squared letters, phonetic extensions and combining marks. A generator only looks each of your letters up in a table.
Where can you use these fonts?
In display names, bios, captions, posts and chats on Instagram, TikTok, Discord, Facebook, WhatsApp, X and most other apps that show Unicode. Account usernames and handles are the common exception: most platforms accept only plain letters, numbers and a few symbols there. Each tool above lists the rules for its platform.
Why does some text show as boxes?
Your device draws every character with the fonts it has installed. Common styles such as bold, script and small caps show up on practically every modern phone and computer. Rare symbols and recently added characters can be missing on older devices, which then show an empty box. If the text matters, such as a name, stick to common styles and check the result on a second phone. The i button on each tile notes known weak spots.
Tips for picking a style
- Aesthetic bios: try wide fullwidth text, or a script style with a soft symbol on each side.
- Gaming and Discord: bold, squared, double-struck and gothic styles stay readable in short names.
- Cute: wrap your name with ♡ or ✧ from the Cute and Symbols filters.
- Professional bios: small caps or a clean italic keep it readable.

Is this a font converter or a web font generator?
This is an online text converter, not a font file converter. It turns the text you type into Unicode characters that look like a different font, ready to copy and paste into bios, captions and chats. It does not convert font files such as TTF, OTF or WOFF, and it does not create web font files or CSS. For those, use a font file converter or a web font generator, and use this page when you just need styled text.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is free to use and there is nothing to sign up for. Favorites and recent styles are stored in your own browser.
Will these fonts work on Instagram, TikTok and Discord?
Yes, in names, bios, captions, posts and chats, because those fields accept Unicode text. Account usernames and handles are the usual exception: they generally accept only plain letters, numbers and a few symbols, so styled characters are rejected there.
Why do some styles show boxes or plain letters?
The app or device you paste into may not have the glyphs. Try a different style, or use the plain version when the text has to be reliable. The i button on each tile notes styles that are less widely supported.
Does my text leave my device?
No. Conversion runs in your browser. Only your favorite and recent style names are saved in local storage.
Is there a limit on how much text I can convert?
The generator accepts up to 500 visible characters. Tile previews are shortened for long text, but Copy always copies the full styled text. Apps have their own limits, and some count styled letters as more than one character, so check the length in the app you paste into.
Can screen readers read fancy fonts?
Often not well. A screen reader may read styled letters as symbol names, such as "mathematical bold capital A", or skip them. Search can also miss them. Keep important information in plain text and use styles for decoration.
What does the i button on each style do?
It opens a short note about that style: what it is made of, and where it may not display or may be counted differently. Tap it again to close the note.
